The BBQ cookoff originally scheduled for the afternoon of Saturday, Aug. 4 has been canceled. 

But there will still be plenty of great music, beginning at 5 p.m. 

Come down to the Peconic Riverfront, located behind East Main Street, to enjoy the sounds of Rattlesnake Dawn, Yankee Rebel and Southbound.  Admission is FREE. 

Southbound (pictured above) is a versatile band that has been entertaining the tri-state area for over 20 years, and was voted the best cover band by Newsday, two years in a row.  Southbound has taken blues, rock, country, southern rock & classic rock songs and made them their own.  The members of Southbound play instruments such as the pedal steel, mandolin, fiddle, dobro, guitar, bass and drums, making for one unique sound. Southbound has opened shows for Keith Urban, The Marshall Tucker Band & The Charlie Daniels Band.  Southbound performs the music you want to hear and dance to!
